The playground is a lonely place when you’re on your own
You stare at the ground, fumbling for your phone
You want someone to talk to and have a normal chat
You don’t want someone to tell you that you’re really fat
The words they say, the way they look, the comments are so snide
Being totally on your own makes you want to hide
You imagine their all laughing, giggling as you walk by
All you want is one to smile but instead you start to cry
The years of all the taunting finally hit the spot
You’re feeling really dizzy and extremely hot
Suddenly you hit the ground, you’re beaten on the floor
This just makes you realise you can’t take any more
Then suddenly a stretched out hand gives a feeling of hope
And suddenly you know you’re finally able to cope
